Krista MacDonald

Yoga Instructor

Krista came to Modo Yoga Hamilton in January 2011 at the suggestion of her doctor, to help deal with stress and anxiety. A lifetime of sports-related injuries had left her with some serious physical limitations; in fact, when she took her first class she could not kneel, or even take child’s pose.  She has logged hundreds of hours in the hot room since then, as both a student and an instructor. Krista completed her Level 1 Modo Training in Kelowna 2014, her Modo Flow Training in 2015, and has since completed many trainings including restorative, yin, and Thai yoga massage. As a teacher, Krista hopes to bring to others what she finds on her mat: peace, compassion, and a strength she didn’t know she had.
