Natalie Sexton

I've been practicing yoga since January 2017. I was going through a divorce, and Modo Yoga Hamilton was a place of calm & sanctuary for me - it helped me to be still, process my thoughts & just breathe, and I really needed that grounding. In turn of all of the mental benefits, I found myself in my 40's, in the best shape of my life, my core, my arms and legs had never felt so strong. This helped take on more challenges like lifting weights & running, I have never felt healthier! I can calm my self in any stressful situation, (from big to small), but for example flying used to really stress me out, now I am a different person about it, I approach things with a mindset that I am safe, I can always soothe myself, there is so much power in breath, and I have learned that through yoga. I am calmer and more present, this practice changed my life for the better in so many ways - I am stronger, calmer & happier - mind, body & soul - I also love that I learned it is not about achieving a certain pose. This is about a practice, a lifetime practice, a journey with the only destination being self love. Yoga is really a gift to give yourself.
