Yoga came into my life as a way to stretch, get out of the house and try something new. I had no expectations or idea what I was getting into. My first impression was "I can’t believe a place like this exists."
Having been in a very negative and stressful environment for the last couple years this was like a dream. I started to notice a change in my energy about two weeks in, each class has been like a battery recharge, or release; emotional, physical, mental, whatever, for me feels like freedom. Learning to connect with myself and just let go has been an eye opening experience. After a month, yoga brought clarity to problem areas in my life that had to change right away. Through a daily practice, yoga has healed my body, mind and soul, opened old injuries - things I was told were permanent - and disposed of them like they were never there. Bonus, yoga has also helped to bring me out of my shell, chill my anxiety and allow peace. Showing up has proven that all things are possible when you take time to breathe, create space and just let go.

Join us for a free Introduction to FLOW Workshop!
We will break down the Flow sequence (high plank, chatturanga, upward dog, downward dog) in great detail and show you how to modify the practice for injuries, mobility or any other limitations. You will learn proper form and alignment to protect the wrists and shoulders, while developing greater strength in your upper body and core. You will also learn how to use props to enhance your practice so you can ”Flow like a Pro” in no time!
This workshop-style class is less formal than a traditional yoga class and there are opportunities to ask questions and get individualized attention. The supportive and interactive environment will teach you the necessary foundations to enjoy a safe and rewarding Flow practice.
Workshop is free and all are welcome to attend. No experience necessary. *Spaces are limited. Pre-register online in advance to book your spot, and out of courtesy to others, if you can’t make it after all, please cancel in advance so someone else can have your spot.
Come dressed for yoga with a yoga mat & mat towel (or rent from us for $2 each), bring a water bottle, and you may even like to bring a notebook and pen!
Rail Trail Late night Run!!!

Join us for a dark and crisp 5km fun walk/run on the trails behind our Dundas studio with head lamps, glow sticks, dance music and your BFFs (Best Fitness Friends)!
Meet us at MYH for 6pm. Run/walk takes place from 6-7:15. Once back at the studio, we will have the most restorative SSU possible!

Picture this, you are laying down in the coziest savasana with blankets and bolsters to cushion your body, soft music is playing and you are being led into a deep state of relaxation, this is yoga nidra. This style of yoga is designed to let your body rest and recharge, while giving your mind a peaceful, tranquil story to follow. Brooke will lead you through a few different styles of yoga nidra to help restore balance to your mind and body. You will leave the workshop feeling well rested, recharged and refreshed.
This workshop is suitable for all bodies and abilities, including pregnant women. No prior experience is necessary. If you feel stressed, overwhelmed, exhausted, have trouble sleeping, or struggle with mental focus, this practice will help you to slow down and unwind. Maybe you just really like savasana and savour moments of stillness, so come check it out!
Bring all 7 chakras into balance with a 90 min practice involving yin postures and essential oils. Sonya will also move around the room and do hands on reiki for specific areas relating to the chakras.
Our teacher training is for anyone who is looking to deepen and expand their yoga practice, live and learn in community, have tons of fun and become a 500 hour certified yoga teacher.
